I am pleased to announce that on July 8, 2024, the Senate of the 118th Congress received Presidential Nomination 1918 for the United States Army, which was then referred to the Committee on Armed Services.

Presidential Nomination 1918 nominated Colonel Eric W. Widmar, for appointment to the grade of Brigadier General and assignment as Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.   

Please take the opportunity to congratulate Colonel Widmar on his well-deserved nomination to Brigadier General as he continues to serve the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, the Joint Force, and the Nation.
