In May of 2019, he became the Chief Judge, U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals (Individual Mobilization Augmentee) and was mobilized from February to December of 2020 as the Acting Commander, United States Army Legal Services Agency and Chief Judge, U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals. In October of 2021, he assumed his current position as the Assistant Judge Advocate General for Military Law and Operations (Individual Mobilization Augmentee). In his civilian capacity, Brigadier General Krimbill serves as a Department of the Army Civilian Contract Attorney for the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command in San Antonio, Texas.
