Announcement of the Nomination of Brigadier General Robert A. Borcherding
for appointment as Deputy Judge Advocate General
and promotion to Major General

I am pleased to announce that on June 4, 2024, the Senate of the 118th Congress received Presidential Nomination 1811 for the United States Army, which was then referred to the Committee on Armed Services.

Presidential Nomination 1811 nominated Brigadier General Robert A. Borcherding for appointment as Deputy Judge Advocate General, United States Army, and promotion to the grade of Major General under title 10, U.S.C., sections 624, 7037, and 7064.

Please take the opportunity to congratulate Brigadier General Borcherding on his well-deserved nomination as he continues to serve the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, the United States Army, and the Nation.
