On behalf of The Judge Advocate General, please join us in congratulating SGT Raymond Sarluca, 3d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, United States Army Special Operations Command, Fort Benning. Georgia, on his selection as the 2025 Sergeant Eric L. Coggins Award for Excellence recipient! This award will be presented to SGT Sarluca at the 2025 Command and Chief Paralegal New Developments Course on 3 June 2025.
  
SGT Sarluca is from Fort Benning, Georgia. He enlisted in the United States Army in 2020 and completed Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Advanced Individual Training at Gregg-Adams, Virginia. He completed the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP 1) and Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia.
  
SGT Sarluca’s current assignment is Headquarters, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia, where he Acting Senior Paralegal NCO.  

SGT Sarluca's military education includes RASP 1, Ranger Small Arms Course, Ranger Assault Breacher Course, Airborne school, Small Unit Ranger Tactics, Ranger School, Basic Leader’s Course, Law for Paralegal Course, and the Judge Advocate Tactical Staff Officer Course. SGT Sarluca has also earned his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership.

SGT Sarluca's military awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and 3 Certificate of Achievements, Expert Soldier Badge, Parachutist Badge, Marksmanship Qualification Badge, Expert w/Carbine, and Ranger Tab.
