USARC's Command Legal Advisor Course (CLAC), class 002, will be held at Fort Bragg, NC from 13-14 June 2025.

This course fills a critical training gap for Judge Advocates in the USAR assigned at the Command, Brigade, and Group level, bridging legal instruction between Judge Advocate Officer Course (JAOAC) graduation and attendance at the Staff Judge Advocate Course. Subject Matter Experts will train Army Reserve Soldiers on current law, policy, doctrinal guidance, and Standard Operating Procedures to support USAR Commanders in maintaining good order and discipline, military justice, and legal readiness.

The intended audience is officers in the rank of CPT or MAJ, graduates of JAOAC and either currently serving in, or identified to serve in, a tenured Group/Brigade Judge Advocate position. Other USAR Judge Advocates may attend, space available, with the approval of the USARC Staff Judge Advocate or their designee. Priority of attendance is tenured Group/Brigade Judge Advocate, Command Judge Advocates, Trial Counsel at the Group/Brigade Level, then all other USAR Judge Advocates. Military and Civilian Paralegals working directly with Group/Brigade Judge Advocates are eligible to attend.

Personnel interested in attending the Command Legal Advisor Course should contact SSG Victoria Clowers, at victoria.m.clowers.mil@army.mil and/or MAJ Nikkole Case, at nikkole.l.case.mil@army.mil.
