On 21 September 2026, at a general court-martial convened at Fort Bragg, NC, MAJ Isaac A. Gutierrez, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his plea, of one specification of domestic violence in violation of Article 128, UCMJ and one specification of communicating a threat in violation of Article 115, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 17 months. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
