On 1 March 2026, at a general court-martial convened at Fort Hood, TX, SFC Courtney D. Robertson, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military panel composed of officers and enlisted members, contrary to his pleas, of three specifications of domestic violence, violation of Article 128b, UCMJ. The accused was acquitted of one specification of attempted murder, one specification of kidnapping, and one specification of domestic violence, in violation of Articles 80, 125 and 128b, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 24 months and to be discharged from the service with a bad-conduct discharge.
