On 4 September 2025, at a general court-martial convened at Fort Bliss, TX, SPC Daquan L. Smith, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his pleas, of one specification of fraudulent use of credit card, debit card, or other access device and one specification of robbery in violation of Articles 121a and 122, UCMJ, respectively. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 36 months and to be discharged from the service with a bad-conduct discharge. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
