On 12 January 2026, at a general court-martial convened at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Inmate Zachary L. Harader, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his plea, of one specification of attempted escape from a confinement facility, in violation of Article 80, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined to 9 months. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
