On 3 July 2025, at a general court-martial convened at Fort Gordon, GA, PFC Jayden W. Carson, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his pleas, of one specification of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, one specification of sexual exploitation of a child producing child pornography, one specification of distributing child pornography, and one specification of sexual abuse of a child involving indecent exposure in violation of Articles 120b and 134, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 13 years, and to be discharged from the service with a bad-conduct discharge. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
