On 24 January 2024, at a special court-martial, convened at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX, LTC Mark B. Patterson, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his pleas, of two specifications of violating a general order, one specification of violating a written order, one specification of maltreatment, one specification of assault consummated by a battery, one specification of conduct unbecoming an officer, and one specification of sexual harassment in violation of Articles 92, 93, 128, 133, and 134, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be reprimanded. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
