On 5 September 2025, at a general court-martial convened at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, PV2 Deron J. Gordon, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his pleas, of one specification of sexual assault, one specification of abusive sexual contact, and one specification of indecent recording in violation of Articles 120 and 120c, UCMJ.  The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 75 months and to be dishonorably discharged from the service.  The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
