On 4 March 2026, at a special court-martial convened at Vilseck, Germany, SSG Christopher Romo, U.S. Army, was convicted by a Military Judge, pursuant to his pleas, of one specification of Damaging, Destroying, or Losing Military Property and one specification of Reckless Endangerment, in violation of Articles 108 and 114, UCMJ. The Military Judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 15 days, reduced to the grade of E-4, and forfeit $785 per month for six months. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a plea agreement.
