On 15 June 2026, at a special court-martial convened at Fort Wainwright, AK, PV2 Zakaya R. White, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to her pleas, of one specification of failure to obey a lawful order, one specification of willfully and wrongfully damaging nonmilitary property, and one specification of domestic violence in violation of Articles 92, 109, and 128b, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 1 day. The sentence was consistent with the terms of a Plea Agreement.
