On 5 June 2025, at a general court-martial convened at Schofield Barracks, HI, PFC Dewayne Johnson, U.S. Army, was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his peas, of nine specifications of obstruction of justice,  five specifications of making a false official statement, one specification of voluntary manslaughter, and one specification of killing an unborn child in violation of Articles 107, 119, 119a, and 131b, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be reduced to the grade of E-1, to forfeit all pay and allowances, to be confined for 23 years, and to be discharged from the service with a dishonorable discharge. The sentence was consistent with the terms of the plea agreement.
