On 19 May 2026, at a special court-martial convened at Fort Knox, Kentucky, CPT Koty M. Caldwell was convicted by a military judge, pursuant to his plea, of one specification of conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman in violation of Article 133, UCMJ. The military judge sentenced the accused to be confined for 180 days and to receive a reprimand. The sentence was consistent with the terms of the plea agreement.
