CP-56 FUNDED ONLINE TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR CIVILIAN ATTORNEYS AND PARAPROFESSIONALS

CP-56 will offer a one-year All-Access Pass from Lorman Education Services to at least 100 interested civilian attorneys and paraprofessionals in the Legal Career Program.  The All-Access Pass will provide legal professionals the ability to participate in unlimited online training opportunities throughout the year, including live webinars and on-demand content.  The topics are wide-ranging and include presentations on trial preparation, legal ethical considerations, use of technology in the practice of law, and many others.  Lorman offers CLE accredited courses for a wide-range of jurisdictions across the country, and you can view these courses by state on the Lorman website.  Lorman will submit the completed CLE information directly to the state bar.  If selected to participate, you will be expected to complete at least three trainings during the 12-month subscription.

If you are interested in participating in the All-Access Pass:

1)  Discuss with your supervisor whether he/she supports your participation in the training and reach an understanding regarding whether any duty time will be allocated for the training;

2) Create or update your GoArmyEd student account at www.goarmyed.com;

3)  Review the Lorman website at www.lorman.com and identify at least three online courses that you are interested in completing during the next 12 months; and

4) Email the following information to Ms. Sarilyn Leary: your full name, work e-mail address; GoArmyEd ID number; office where you work; supervisor’s email address; the names of three courses you are interested in completing; and a statement that you understand if selected for participation you will agree to complete at least three trainings during the 12-month subscription period. All emails must be sent to Ms. Leary NLT 13 May 2020.
