25-29 April 2022
(SUSPENSE: FRIDAY, 25 MARCH 2022)
Course Announcement – NADRC. The Army has been allocated 24 seats in the 2022 Negotiation and Appropriate Dispute Resolution Course (NADRC), to be held 25-29 April at the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s School, Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. Travel and per diem for Army attendees will be paid by the Army ADR Program in the Office of the Army General Counsel (OGC-ADR). NADRC is a five-day course in negotiation and mediation skills for military and civilian attorneys in all facets of government legal practice, regardless of subject matter, specialty, or experience level. Utilizing a mix of presentations by subject-matter experts and immersive role-playing exercises, NADRC teaches students how to negotiate more effectively and exposes them to mediation techniques for resolving most disputes. Exercises include multiple one-on-one and team negotiations in a variety of subject-matter contexts, and a mock mediation. All Active Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard JAGs and civilian attorneys who have not previously attended NADRC are eligible.
There is no charge for this course. All travel and per diem of Army attendees will be paid by Army OGC, subject to funding availability. Individual duty pay or points for Reserve and National Guard attendees are the responsibility of the attendee’s unit. Selectees must use the Defense Travel System (DTS) for preparation of travel orders for OGC-funded travel. Additional information and instructions for travel orders preparation will be sent to selectees upon notification of selection.
Submit nominations (including self-nominations) by email to the undersigned POC no later than Friday, 25 March 2022. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
