General Litigation Mission  
       
The General Litigation Branch (LTG) defends the Government's interest in cases related to bankruptcy, contract disputes, Small Business Act, Equal Access to Justice Act, Administrative Procedure Act, FOIA/Privacy Act, Randolph Sheppard Act, classified litigation, Bivens, 1st/4th/5th Amendment Constitutional litigation, and miscellaneous statues. To that end, LTG works with Army OSJAs and agencies to review federal complaints against the Army and its officials and coordinate actions to obtain litigatino reports and evidence in order to develop litigation strategy for each case. In consultation with DoJ, LTG attorneys identify legal defenses on behalf of the US and timely writes legall sufficient, persuasive, and accurate legal briefs in accordance with applicable statutes, legal precedent and regulations. LTG Attorneys also arrange dispositions and assist with collection of trial exhibits.
