The 3rd resident Judge Advocate Tactical Staff Officer Course (JATSOC) is scheduled from Monday, 27 January 2025 to Friday, 31 January 2025.
The purpose of the JATSOC is to familiarize new Judge Advocates with key Army doctrine and the staff officer skills necessary to function as part of a tactical-level staff. The primary intended audience for this course is active-duty Judge Advocates (CPT/O-3) who are in, or will be going into, a national security law billet, combat training center rotation, or warfighter exercise. Similarly situated active-duty paralegals and reserve and national guard component Judge Advocates may also attend by exception.
Prospective students shall complete the course application & registration form, which is located via link under the “Course Applications” section at https://tjaglcs.army.mil/student-services. All applications must be submitted NLT 13 December 2024. Approved applicants will be notified by 18 December 2024.
Course Dates: 27 – 31 January 2025.
Location: TJAGLCS, Charlottesville, Virginia.
