The Department of Defense Standards of Conduct Office (DOD SOCO) is hosting the Introduction to Ethics Fundamentals Training Course (EFTC), 25-26 April 2023, Arlington, VA.  This course was formerly the Basic Ethics Counselor Short Course (BECC) and the Basic Ethics Paralegal and Counselor Course (BEPCC).  The course will be live for a number of attendees (up to 15) at DARPA, in Arlington, VA  and will also be available virtually for certain attendees on the platform of ZOOM for Government (up to 55). Note:  A lower number of slots may be allocated each to OTJAG, AMC, and the COE.

The course is designed to provide new ethics counselors and paralegals with instruction in core ethics practice areas.  The course is not designed to be used for attorney CLE credit.  When considering nominations for attendance, please remember that they should be in one of these categories: new ethics program managers, new ethics counselors, attorneys new to providing ethics advice and performing financial disclosure reviews, and paralegals or support staff for ethics counselors.

To attend virtually, the participant must have full access to ZOOM for Government.

Due to limited number of seats, application does not guarantee selection.
