On November 26, 2013, Kevin C. Kakac (LTC, JA, USAR), with his wife Sharmila looking on, was sworn in as the Resident Circuit Court Judge for Wayne County, Illinois.  LTC Kakac was appointed to the position in the 2nd Judicial Circuit by the Illinois Supreme Court.  LTC Kakac's new duties as a judge began December 2, 2013.  LTC Kakac currently serves as the Staff Judge Advocate for the 102nd Training Division (Maneuver Support) headquartered at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
