1SG Keith Barkley, Chief Paralegal NCO, was laterally promoted by COL Daknis, SJA, MCOE and Fort Benning on 9 August 2016. 1SG Barkley is now assigned as the First Sergeant for Company E, 3d Battalion, and 11th Infantry which trains the Direct Commission's Course. The members of this unit are mostly incoming Judge Advocates which are developed and trained on fundamental skills, leadership, physical fitness, mental toughness, tactical and technical proficiency.
