Announcement of Death – Sergeant First Class Alison Reynolds., U.S. Army Reserve
It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Sergeant First Class Alison Reynolds. SFC Reynolds died on 14 September 2012 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 48 years old.
SFC Reynolds was an outstanding Noncommissioned Officer and leader. She was most recently assigned to the 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and deployed to Iraq as the NCOIC of the OSJA in support of Operation New Dawn from January to September 2011. SFC Reynolds’ other previous assignments included First Sergeant/Chief Paralegal, 75th Legal Support Organization, Mountain View, California; Senior Paralegal, 7th Psychological Operations Group; and Chief Paralegal, 91st Division, Dublin, California.
A loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, John; sons and daughters, Elizabeth O’Neill, Sean O’Neill, Andrew Reynolds, Esther Reynolds, Joe Reynolds, and Johnny Reynolds; and best friend Karen Gilbert.
A memorial service will be held on 22 September 2012, at Holy Angels's Funeral Center: 1051 Harder Rd. Hayward, CA 94542; the viewing will be at 1330 and the service at 1400.
