The U.S. Army Tax Center in Hawaii was officially opened on 31 January, the day the IRS began receiving tax returns.  COL Mark Bridges, SJA, 25th Infantry Division, and COL Daniel Whitney, Commander, U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii, presided over the opening ceremony and cut the ceremonial ribbon.  The opening of this year's tax center was a monumental effort with a change over in the senior mission command and a relocation of the tax center.  The tax center opening simply could not have happened without the tireless efforts of CPT Anthony Contrada, Mrs. Gisella Parent, and CW2 Juan Santiago.
