KLIP Trial Attorney Participates on ABA Public Contract Law Section Panel
On July 12, 2023, CPT Natalie McKiernan, a Trial Attorney in the Contract Litigation and Intellectual Property Division (KLIP), U.S. Army Legal Services Agency, served as a distinguished panelist for a ABA Public Contract Law Section, Contract Claims & Disputes Resolution Committee program geared toward law students and young attorneys yearning to learn about government contract litigation. The program, entitled "Claims 101" , provided the 65 attendees an entry-level course on the Contract Disputes Act and appeals litigation before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). Trial attorneys assigned to KLIP serve as first chair litigators at the ASBCA and assist DOJ at the COFC and CAFC. Additionally, they zealously litigate protests against Army procurements at the GAO, the COFC, and the CAFC. Interested in serving as a military or civilian KLIP Trial Attorney?
