Welcome to the Stability Operations & Rule of Law Branch

The Stability Operations Branch provides advice to the field and the Army Staff regarding the application of law to military stability operations, rule of law, and interagency cooperation for security, stability, transition, and reconstruction. We support the development of evolving policy, doctrine, and training to implement stability and operations and rule of law. We also coordinate stability operations and rule of law initiatives and programs with interagency and international partners, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and within the Army.
