The Army Suspension and Debarment Official (SDO), located within the Office of The Judge Advocate General, oversees the Procurement Fraud Division, which serves as the Army's central authority for coordination of remedies on procurement fraud investigations. The Chief of the Procurement Fraud Division is directly responsible for administering the Army Procurement Fraud Program and supporting the Army Suspension and Debarment Officials as appropriate. In addition to the Procurement Fraud Division, each major Army Command (ACOM) has a designated Procurement Fraud and Irregularities Coordinator (PFIC) responsible for administering that command's Procurement Fraud Program. The Army also maintains designated Procurement Fraud Advisors (PFA) who serve as a local point of contact for procurement fraud matters and who administer the command's Procurement Fraud Program on a local level. The Procurement Fraud Division also has a detailed a Judge Advocate at the Department of Justice’s Commercial Litigation Branch to serve as a trial attorney responsible for many of the Army's most visible procurement fraud cases.
