The SAUSA course is scheduled for 7 – 10 October 2024. This is an introductory course that presents practice-oriented instruction for SAUSAs from across the U.S. Army and Sister Services. Attendees must be Department of Defense (DoD) military or civilian attorneys who are serving in, or pending assignment to, a SAUSA position. Instruction will be practical in application, including instructional blocks dedicated, but not limited, to: initial and preliminary hearings, charging decisions, detention hearings, sentencing guidelines, plea bargaining, discovery, traffic offenses, and so on.
The course will be conducted at the U.S. Army Advocacy Center on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Attendance at the course is INVITATION ONLY. Prospective students can apply to attend in person. There is no virtual attendance. To apply, please go to:
