Brigadier General John W. Miller II, Commander and Commandant The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, Charlottesville, VA, presents The Judge Advocate General's Coin to Major General (Ret.) Hunt B. Downer, former Assistant Adjutant General, Louisiana National Guard, for MG Downer's concept and development of a Continuing Legal Education Seminar for military and civilian attorneys in the local communities. Fort Polk OSJA hosted the 21st Annual Continuing Legal Education Seminar on 17-18 November 2010. The Seminar fosters cooperation and education between the military and civilian legal communities in efforts to improve the quality of legal services to the Fort Polk Community.
