There has been a change in the time and location of the funeral services for Ms. Joan Graham. The funeral will now be at First United Methodist Church, Bradbury Heights. The address is 4323 Bowens Road SE, Washington, D.C. 20019. The church will open at 1000 with funeral services at 1100. The family has elected not to have a viewing service. The interment will immediately follow the service and will remain at the original location; Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746.

It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Ms. Joan Graham,a member of the Clerk of Court's office, Army Court of Criminal Appeals. Ms. Graham passed away on 30 November 2012 after an extended illness.

Ms. Graham was a long time and valued member of the United States Legal Services Agency (USALSA). Ms. Graham was initially hired at USALSA in April 1984 as a secretary in the Litigation Division. She started work with the Clerk of Court's office in March 1989. During her long career with the Army's high court, Ms. Graham was in charge of final orders and preparing records of trial for retirement. In this capacity, she routinely advised and helped train paralegals throughout the Army, but especially at Forts Sill, Knox and Leavenworth, on all matters relating to the execution of punitive discharges. More recently, Ms. Graham was instrumental is implementing changes to AR 27-10, allowing the waiver of final orders in certain circumstances.

Ms. Graham is survived by her son Dante Williams (Abbie), her sisters Elizabeth, Theresa, and Caroline, her brothers Matthew and Anthony, her sister-in-law Chris and numerous friends and loved ones. She will be missed by her family and the JAG Corps.
