It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Douglas C. Blackburn.  LTC Blackburn died in October 2013. 

LTC Blackburn was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1972 after graduating from Bowling Green University in Ohio.  He served 26 years as both an active duty and reserve Judge Advocate.  His last assignments in the JAG Corps include, Chief Trial Counsel, 138th Legal Support Organization, Parma, Ohio, and Military Judge, 9th Legal Support Organization, Parma, Ohio.  He retired from the Army in 1998.

LTC Blackburn will be deeply missed by many.  He is survived by his wife, Lis, and children, Kevin and Scott.  Please keep the Blackburn family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
