During the week of 13 September 2010 XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg hosted local political and civic leaders, a Congressional Staff delegation, and other selected dignitaries during a Joint Forcible Entry Exercise (JFEX).
During the week of 13 September 2010 XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg hosted local political and civic leaders, a Congressional Staff delegation, and other selected dignitaries during a Joint Forcible Entry Exercise (JFEX). JFEX is a week-long exercise to enhance cohesion between the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines through large-scale heavy equipment and troop movements. Over 2000 Paratroopers, their vehicles, artillery, and equipment were delivered via parachute from 8 C-17 and 12 C-130 aircraft. During the exercise 48 assault landings took place during the hours of darkness.
