On 6 May 2011, COL Samuel Smith, TRADOC SJA, hosted the 2011 TRADOC OSJA Joint Service Law Day Celebration at Fort Monroe, Virginia. Fort Monroe is scheduled for BRAC closure in September, so this was the last Law Day event to be held by the U.S. Army at Fort Monroe. The celebrations consisted of a series of presentations at the historic Casemate Museum, a luncheon and a keynote address by Mr. Fred Borch, The JAGC Regimental Historian and Archivist. Below is a group shot which was taken to kickoff the festivities and commemorate Fort Monroe’s final Law Day Celebration.
