The 40th Judge Advocate General of the Army, Lieutenant General Charles N. Pede, receives his promotion certificate from General Mark A. Milley, Army Chief of Staff, at a ceremony held in his honor at the Pentagon on July 26, 2017.  General Pede stated in his remarks to the audience, "our Regiment will continue to set the standard in virtually every area of practice--from advising on targets in places like Mosul, to defending and prosecuting Soldiers at courts-martial, to helping Soldiers with their taxes and myriad family law issues, to ensuring our Army contracts are litigation proof and that all the seams in between are covered by the best administrative law attorneys in the world."
