On August 7, 2012, members of the US Forces Japan/Fifth Air Force SJA office (L-R: Mr. Atsuhiko Nakayasu (Host Nation Legal Advisor), Col Stephen Shrewsbury (SJA, USAF), LTC Tracy Cowan (Assistant SJA, USAR), and Capt David Chewning (Chief, General Law and International Claims, USAF) visited the Ichigaya Memorial Hall in Tokyo, Japan as part of a day of meetings with high-ranking representatives from Japan's Ministry of Defense.  The Hall served as the site of the war crimes trials of The International Military Tribunal for the Far East after World War II.
