Staff Sergeant Christian J. Ortiz, 15th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Bliss, Texas, won the Fort Bliss' Got Talent competition

Staff Sergeant Christian J. Ortiz, 15th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Bliss, Texas, won the Fort Bliss' Got Talent competition on 3 March 2011. The competition spans over 4 weeks beginning in early February with a total of 20 contestants from the Fort Bliss area. As a finalist SSG Ortiz performed an emotional rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly" which he dedicated to a fallen Comrade. Finally, he brought down the house by singing "The Reason" by Hoobastank which he dedicated to his daughter (pictured) and was ultimately name the winner of the Fort Bliss' Got Talent competition.
