On 11 September 2014, at the New York State Capitol, SPC Abby Imhof, daughter of former 154th LOD Commander COL (R) John Imhof, took the reenlistment oath from LTC Christopher Hanifin, Acting Commander of the 7th Legal Operations Detachment (USAR), Schenectady, New York.  SPC Imhof continues honorably her family's military tradition, while her father serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of Military Commissions, South, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  The flags at the NYS Capitol were at half-mast, in remembrance of the 13th anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attacks.
