Combined Active and Reserve Component Defense Counsel 101 Course a Big Success: Trial Defense Service Judge Advocates and Paralegal NCOs from the Active Component, the U.S. Army Reserve, and the Army National Guard recently participated in a combined Defense Counsel 101 Training Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). MAJ Ben Grimes, Senior Defense Counsel, JBLM, hosted the training. LTC Rob Resnick, Director of DCAP, and LTC (Ret) E.J. O’Brien of DCAP provided outstanding instruction in support of RDCs and SDCs across the components to a total of 30 new TDS personnel from: the Active Component’s TDS Regions West Pacific and Great Plains - the 22d LSO’s Northwest and Pacific Regions from the USAR and - the ARNG TDS Western Region including members from California and Oregon.
