Governor David A. Paterson of New York and LTC Eliot Goldman, USAR, at the Commissioning of the USS New York. The USS New York, commissioned by Governor Paterson on 7 November 2009, is built with 7.5 tons of steel from the World Trade Center. LTC Goldman was commissioned a 1st Lieutenant in One World Trade Center and was the Army representative to the Navy for the ship's commissioning.
