Wasatch Fron 100 Mile Endurance Run

1LT Jacob Gunter, SJA, 1st Bn., 19th SFG, UTARNG, (foreground) paces CPT Phil Lowry, DSJA , 115th MEB, UTARNG, through mile 52 of the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run, on 11 September. CPT Lowry finished the race in 25:52:48, 20th out of over 200 runners. Two weeks later he turned in one of the top ultra-marathon performances in the nation, finishing the Bear 100 Mile Endurance Run in 23:02:49, 6th place out of over 100 runners. CPT Lowry is a member of the UTARNG Ultra-marathon Team.
